Terms of participation

Independent discussion
Press Floor provides original policy sources, editorial summaries and audience contributions. It is not a government service. Forum material is not personalised legal, financial or professional advice. Check the linked original sources.
Participate responsibly
Ask questions, share experiences or bring a source. Distinguish personal experience and opinion from documented facts, and link evidence when making a factual claim.
Do not submit unlawful content, threats, harassment, impersonation, spam, private account details or confidential information. Only share material you are entitled to share.
Review and publication
Submission saves a contribution privately for AI review of its name and text. Uncertain decisions are held privately for further review. A moderator may allow it for public discussion, hold it for further review or remove it. Allowance is not a fact check or an endorsement.
An allowed contribution can appear in the discussion, at a public permalink or on stage. Other readers may copy it. Requesting a turn does not guarantee stage time; the host controls the stage queue.
Identity and access
Participation requires a current Google or guest session and a display name. Display names are reviewed too. Reporting public contributions requires Google sign-in. A report triggers further review and does not automatically remove a contribution. Sign-in identifies an account; it does not prove a unique human or verify statements. If Google sign-in is unavailable, you can still read public discussions. Old guest records are not automatically transferred to a Google account.
Moderator roles are granted separately by the operator. Signing in or being the first participant does not grant moderator privileges.
Corrections, removal and privacy
Use the Contact page to report a problem or request a correction or removal. Removal from public discussion does not guarantee immediate erasure of copies made by readers, operational records or backups. The Privacy page describes current data handling.
